How did I end up here?
And then I started to find the right people. It was relationships that made all the difference. Once I made connections and started learning the ropes of this wild and beautiful jungle called entrepreneurship, I knew I was home. I learned that movement is the key to making things work. You just keep trying, keep iterating, keep thinking outside the box. And relationships are everything – so you stay present with people, stay humble, lend a hand, open doors, build bridges.
Fast forward to 2023, and I’ve got 5 successful companies under my belt and have been a business angel for dozens of companies. I get to use everything I’ve learned (the hard way) to make it much easier for entrepreneurs to be successful. I’m truly grateful for all the support and direction I received early on, so investing and mentoring feels like giving back. I’ve invested in over 30 startups and have worked closely with incredible professionals, people that have made me a better professional, and a better human.
None of this would have happened if I didn’t take the untravelled path, so I respect anyone who is trying to buck convention to do amazing things. And I’m right here to put some skin in the game with you.
